Rip Rap Erosion Control

A large storm hit Brockville this past summer resulting in heavy damage on multiple properties along the river. Our client came to us looking for a solution to help keep their drainage ditch banks from eroding away. The storm had uprooted a large pine tree which had been supporting the banks. Without the support from the root system the Spring water flow increase would cause further damage to the lawn. We imported 5”- 8” rip rap and installed over a non woven geotextile fabric to reinforce the banks of the drainage ditch to prevent further erosion!
